The diversity of parks and greenspace in Boston ranges from the small pocket parks found all around Boston neighborhoods to the Emerald Necklace that circles the city to the beaches and harbor islands, woods, rivers, ponds, bike paths, jogging trails, community gardens and more.

Parks and greenspace support every aspect of city life -- a place for family events, community gatherings, volunteer days, summer jobs for youth, children's and adult sports, gardening, children's programs, music, art and more.

This photo gallery - and the array of photos that appear on the bosotnparks.org pages - draws from the collections of individuals and organizations involved with the Boston Park Advocates network and shares a taste of the diversity of parks and greenspace in Boston.  Do you have Boston parks photos to share?  Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
