Description: The Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition (DEHC) is a community-led network dedicated to promoting the environmental, social and economic benefits of living sustainably in Boston's largest and oldest neighborhood.
DEHC works with its partners to make Dorchester healthier through improving green space resources, raising awareness of local air quality, advocating for biking and walking amenities, and by encouraging active living.

Description: The Arborway Coalition is a collaboration of JP residents & other interested parties working with City and State agencies and local neighborhood associations to preserve the Arborway as a green multi-use parkway connecting three Emerald Necklace parks designed by Frederick Law Olmsted: Jamaica Pond Park, Arnold Arboretum and Franklin Park.
Our goal is to improve access to these parks for all users and to keep the parkway clean & green.

Description: The Franklin Park Coalition (FPC) advocates for the park, runs year-round programs to bring people into the park, and leads a youth jobs program restoring the park‘s 200 acres of forest.

FPC sponsors the Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park summer concert series, runs seasonal volunteer days and park tours, and advocates with the city and the Boston Parks Department for resources and improved management and maintenance.
